Privacy Policy

The short version

App Dailies has no server, no account and no analytics. It talks to Apple on your behalf using an App Store Connect API key that you create and that stays yours. Your sales history is stored on your own devices. Nothing is ever sent to us, and there is nothing for us to collect.

Data collection

• Personal data: none collected.
• Usage data and analytics: none collected. There is no analytics SDK in the app.
• Crash reports: none collected by us. If you have opted in to sharing diagnostics with Apple, Apple may share anonymised reports with developers under Apple's own privacy policy.
• Identifiers, advertising, tracking: none. The app does not track you across apps or websites.

Network requests

The app makes requests to exactly two places, both of them Apple's:

• api.appstoreconnect.apple.com — to download your daily sales reports and, on the per-app screen, your latest customer reviews. These requests are signed with your own API key and return your own data.
• itunes.apple.com — a public lookup for an app's icon, version, price and rating. It contains no personal information and identifies only the app being shown.

There are no other network requests. No data is sent to the developer or to any third party.

Your API key

The private key (.p8) you import is stored in the system Keychain. It is used only to sign requests to Apple. It is never transmitted anywhere except to Apple as part of the signed request, and it is deleted from the Keychain when you remove the account.

iCloud

So that you do not have to import your key on every device, the app stores your API key in the iCloud Keychain and your account list (team name, issuer ID, key ID and vendor number) in iCloud key-value storage. Both belong to your Apple Account, are end-to-end encrypted by Apple, and are readable neither by the developer nor by Apple. If you turn off iCloud Keychain, the app keeps working and simply stays on one device. Your sales history is not synced; each device keeps its own copy.

What is stored on your device

• The daily sales reports downloaded from Apple, in a local database.
• Your account list and app preferences.
• The API key, in the Keychain, as described above.

Removing an account deletes its reports and its key. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on that device.

Purchases

App Dailies Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. The app never sees your payment details; it only asks the system whether the purchase has been made.

Children

App Dailies is a tool for people who publish apps. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
